    National Level dance Programme

    National level Dance & Music Competition for specially Talented Artists Organised by Department of Disabilities Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

    To evaluate the empowerment of persons with disabilities in the cultural sector a national level Dance and Music competition for especially talented artists was organized by Department of Disability affairs under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. In presence of Ministers and various VIPs the inmates of the organization Asha Bhavan Centre participated in group dance competition and in solo music event. They performed a dance – “ Bollywood Dance” very well despite tiredness and ranked Second among 34 participants from all over the country. The theme, the gesture and the zeal showed by our children through their dance performance was really praiseworthy. They were awarded with a beautiful trophy and a token of money of Rs. 2000/-. In the solo music event Sulekha Samanta although performed well but satisfied with a consolation prize. We are very much proud of our children.
