ABOUT US:
Asha Bhavan Centre (ABC) is an institution dedicated to the development of children and women in the society, giving emphasis to destitute, underprivileged and challenged persons. Asha Bhavan was founded in 1999 and since then, has become one of the leading institutions in India offering comprehensive residential care and support to physically and mentally challenged children and women, while reaching out to thousands of other similar vulnerable persons in the country through community based rehabilitation measures. Within a span of ten years, ABC has grown into a multifarious institution working for all round development of poor and destitute children through its comprehensive support to physical and mental disabilities, education, and community based rehabilitation initiatives and nutrient supplementation program in the state.

MISSION:
The mission of ABC is to provide meaningful opportunities for social and economic development of poorest of the poor so that they gain dignity and respect in life, focusing on differentially vulnerable people, particularly women and children.
GOAL:
Our Goal is to provide opportunities for vulnerable children, particularly those who are physically Challenged, destitute and mentally Challenged women from poor and marginalized families for their all round growth and development through therapy, counseling and rehabilitation support.
AIM TO NEXT:
The team members, friends, well wishers and volunteers have set a unique goal to be achieved within coming next five years; which says “ABC is recognized in the society as A Centre of Excellence in Eastern India”
Centre of Excellence is an internal efficiency and quality measure being developed by ABC. It is an exhaustive set of indicators that will suggest whether the organization has been able to reach the optimal levels of efficiency in quality of service, satisfaction rating and management process. The ABC team members will work together to achieve the set indicators, thereby ensuring that the organization becomes a high quality institution.
